Oh Yah, the Glacier - I have no perspective for travel in Juneau. Does it take 10 minutes or an hour to get from Downtown to the glacier? How far are you from the Glacier now and where is your soon-to-be house located?
Well, at our current location (ie, before we move) we can see the glacier from the end of the driveway or from the window in the loft of the house above our apartment. It's a couple of miles away--about 20 minutes from downtown. Our soon-to-be house is in between the two.
